I’ve combined my journalistic background, a love of literature and six years’ teaching experience to present a series of creative writing courses for adults, both in-person and online. After teaching for four terms at Sutton College, I am now into the 9th term of a series of four short courses at Forest Hill Library in south London and online. A new initiative, Writing Workshops for Former Students, is also about to launch.

Whether in-person or not, each lesson has a warm-up, a theme with discussion, 25 mins’ writing time and a chance to share your work with your fellow students. In-person classes have a maximum of 12 students, and online classes contain between five and 10 students. There’s no pressure to read out, but it’s very likely that your confidence will grow, so don’t delay – book today!
