With four bank holidays to contend with, it’s been devilish difficult to confirm dates for the new workshopping group, but finally it is done, with one session having to take place on a bank holiday and a run of just five workshops instead of the usual six.
The dates are: 27 April, 4 May (Bank Holiday), 18 May, 8 June, 15 June.
The workshops will take place Upstairs at the Shirkers Rest, right opposite Goldsmiths’ College at 9 Lewisham Way, London SE14 6PP. The stairs are a little narrow and steep, but not difficult as long as you have reasonable mobility. Apologies to anyone without.

In other news, I’ve taken advantage of the lull in courses to get back to work on my own writing, which includes a novel started over 10 years ago! In terms of the novel, for some reason now feels like the right time, and I’ve been powering away, aided by a daily co-writing session and a friendly mentor who I submit work to once a month for feedback.
In terms of teaching, I’ve been mulling it over, and am considering offering my original courses (or just individual classes/workshops) to groups – think Women’s Institute, wellbeing/welfare or special interest groups, or workplaces. If any of you belong to a group/organisation you think might be interested in a creative writing course, or individual workshops, please get in touch – I’d love to hear your thoughts/ideas.
For now, wishing you all a very happy Easter!
