Life continues to move forward! I’ve now worked as a Creative Writing Teacher at Sutton College for four terms and I’ve also run three short Creative Writing classes in my own community, London’s Forest Hill.

The fourth 6-week Creative Writing for Wellbeing course, has now been scheduled. It will run at Forest Hill Library on Tuesdays from 5.15pm-7.15pm, starting on 14 January 2025 and ending on 18 February. Enrol here: Tickets

As there are a number of returners on this course, I’ve started a new introductory course at a new location – the wonderful Sunflower Centre in Brockley (81 Tressillian Road, London SE4 1XZ), beside Hilly Fields park. In other news, my series for Sonic Street Technologies about young people in reggae is still going strong, and I spent the summer interviewing people as young as 16, spinning decades-old reggae music on vinyl. I’ve also got some new gigs myself – you can catch me DJing (rocksteady and roots) at The Chandos in Honor Oak Park, every first Friday of the month! I’m doing it with Jazz Funk Tim (so it’s not all reggae) and we have a special guest selector every month.
